Valderrama

Played indoor yesterday. Lost 5-1. I played a lot better than last week. We had more chances than the other team, but we only managed to score one. I'm starting to make better decisions

The rear differential on my car is making a hissing noise, and it's getting worse. I hope to get a new car soon. I'm gonna move to some place closer to work next month. I wanna take the train to work.

I have another interview on Friday. I'm not that interested, but I'm gonna go check it out. The job I have now is starting to get on track. I don't have any worries over financial stuffs anymore. I still want to do more analytical work even if it pays less. But the company I work for now has a lot of things planned for me to do. There will be a lot more travels next year. I don't mind traveling, but I don't want to lose sight of where I want to go.

My left eye got blurry.
Got a new nationality in May.

World Cup and Nakata's retirement.
New job in June.

Hamburg in September.
Adam's soccer team.

Biggest disappointment: Didn't get the job that I wanted.

Shooting Star

I've seen three shooting stars since I came to Abu Dhabi. Each time, I wished that I get to see M.

I've been playing soccer with some people from India. They're really good at passing the ball to the space. They don't like me keeping the ball too much.

Last night, I walked around the city for the first time. Had some lamb gyro type food. It was really good. It's really nice here. I can see how some people feel very secure in this place. It's extremely safe. I haven't really seen much of this place. But I'm not sure if I wanna live here though. Some of the taxi drivers are rude. Some people are arrogant. Maybe it just takes more time for me to get used to it, but the place doesn't feel very 'active.'

I'm flying home tomorrow night.

No Reason Why

Went to the Emirates Palace last night for a dinner. I thought it was ridiculous. I'm not interested. Saw a guy with four wives. It doesn't make any sense to me.

Saw a little girl praying on the ground. I thought it's unfair to the kid. They have no choice.

Anarchy in UAE

Did you know that there's no porn in Abu-Dhabi?

I didn't know that.

I'm dying.

Desert

I like Mumbai better. I don't like living in a place that's so 'manufactured.'

It's my B-day. It's raining here. I heard that it only rains like once a year. The hotel sent me a big birthday cake. It was really good.

Bunch of things happened en route. But I'm going to sleep now.
