Connected to the World

I just got the internet hooked up at my apartment. It's been about a year and half since I last had access to the internet at home. I don't own a TV still, but I don't think I'll ever want to have one.

We lost last week. We were winning 5-1 with fifteen minutes to go, but lost 5-8. I felt pretty shitty. I started running, but it'll be a while before I'm back in shape.

The glider club started flying again. My goal is to fly the L-23 about 80 times this year and get my commercial rating. But I'll see how it goes with work and everything first. I only flew about 15 times last year. I'll try to get more comfortable flying the L-23 and take up more friends this year.

Home

I was in Atlanta for a few days. I didn't get to see anything. The weather was really nice though. It reminded me of the time I was in the Army.

I'm seriously going to look for another job. I think I'm wasting life doing what I do now. I'm not learning much. I feel like my time is running out to do anything useful in my life.

Lost Fight

I don't know what I'm doing or where I'm going. I am also starting to forget who I was. I'm just a machine. This world controls me. I have no sense of existence.

Cities

I was in Atlanta on Tuesday. Vancouver on Wednesday and Thursday. Came home on Friday. I liked Vancouver. The people were really nice. I liked the view. Everytime I go overseas, I realize how greedy and selfish I've become living in the states for so long.

Maybe I'm just seeing the good sides of other countries since I don't usually stick around long enough to find out how it's like to live in a different country.

We played Saturday against a pretty good team. We tied 3-3. We were lucky that we didn't lose. Went to one of the guy's house in Cicero for his son's birthday. The place was full of his relatives and families. I kinda wished I had something like that. But I wouldn't want to live with social boundaries set by other family members.

I have a telephone interview tomorrow with a company that builds business jets. It's a pretty new company, and I think that I have things to learn by working there.
