Sell Out

I had a phone interview with someone from this certain private spaceship company the other day. He read my cover letter about living out of a hangar and decided to contact me. I kind of knew that there will be a day like this, but I didn't follow through. I think I kind of gave up before it happened. I used to live out of a hangar and worked at a factory studying how to build a weird looking airplane. Then I got a job, and I settled down. I forgot about the things that were important to me.

My soccer team finally won a game for the first time in eight months. The score was 6-2. I was really happy when it happened, but I felt a bit sorry for the other team. I was a bit confused that we won. I knew that we've been playing better that we'll win one of these days. But I also know that we're barely at the level good enough to be competitive in this league. We can be better. I think I'll be happy when we can win half the time.

Oh yeah, I moved to a place in Oak Park 3 weeks ago. I started taking the train to work. It's working out pretty good. I like my room better than the place in Elgin, but I haven't had much time to look around for things to do. Hopefully I'll meet people to hang around with.
